Material Selection

Based on your project’s needs and budget we will guide you in choosing the appropriate grade of metal for your tooling. Beginning with “softer” metal alloys such as Aluminum (6061 and 7075) and Pre-Hardened P20 through 420 Stainless Steel and Caldie and up to Hardened tool steels such as H11, A2, and D2.

Rapid Tooling

Polmold uses in-house Additive Manufacturing and 3D printing technology to create quick-turn prototype tools from a CAD file into a fully functional tool in a matter of days. Additional benefits of this approach are conformal cooling channels that would not otherwise be an option. MoldFlow software is used to optimize the designs.

All operations and processes occur in our state-of-the-art facility which complies with the following standards: ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485 and AS9100D.
