The Apprentice Moldmaker is responsible for learning various mold-making operations including precision
milling, grinding, sinker EDM, wire EDM, assembly, and troubleshooting of high-precision injection molds.

Education/Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Enthusiastic about pursuing a career in mold making.
- Basic understanding of machining principles is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn from experienced professionals.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Capacity to follow instructions and safety guidelines in a manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up 50lb with or without assistance.
- Reliable vision and motor skills needed for the operation of heavy machinery and cutting tools.
- Ability to move easily from one area to another, able to stoop, reach and bend.
Work Environment
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to work near
moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and risk of electrical shock.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
